Remember What Color Your Driveway Was? We'll Remind You.

Concrete doesn't age into gray — it gets buried under algae, mold, tire film, and atmospheric grime. Our commercial surface cleaners and hot-water systems strip it all away and hand you back the surface you actually paid for.

The Science of Getting Concrete Genuinely Clean

Concrete is a sponge. Its porous surface drinks in everything that lands on it — organic spores, vehicle fluids, fertilizer, road salt — and holds it in thousands of microscopic pockets that a garden hose or rental machine can't reach. That's why DIY attempts leave concrete looking "cleaner" but never actually clean, usually with wand stripes as a souvenir.

Our process works at the pore level. A pre-treatment breaks the bond between contamination and concrete; commercial-grade rotary surface cleaners then deliver perfectly even coverage at pressures no consumer machine approaches; and hot water dissolves the petroleum-based films that cold water just smears around. Edges, corners, and expansion joints get detailed by hand.

The transformation routinely stuns our clients — concrete that looked permanently gray comes back nearly white, and stamped or exposed-aggregate finishes recover definition that had been invisible for years.

Finish the job right

Clean Today. Sealed Tomorrow. Protected for Years.

Freshly cleaned concrete is also perfectly prepped concrete — every pore open and ready to accept sealer. That's why so many clients pair cleaning with our concrete staining and sealing service: sealed surfaces shrug off the very stains we just removed, resist Michigan's freeze-thaw spalling, and stay cleaner years longer.

It's the difference between renting your curb appeal and owning it. Ask for a combined clean-and-seal quote and we'll price the bundle honestly.

Concrete Cleaning FAQs

Can you remove oil stains from my driveway?

Most of them, yes — hot water and specialized degreasers pull the majority of automotive stains out completely, and our dedicated oil stain removal service handles the stubborn ones with poultice treatments. Very old stains that have chemically bonded with the concrete may lighten rather than vanish; we'll assess honestly before quoting.

Why does my concrete turn green and black?

Green is algae; black is typically mold, lichen, or accumulated atmospheric grime. Michigan's humidity and shade patterns feed all of them, especially on north-facing surfaces. Our pre-treatments kill the growth rather than just stripping the surface layer, which keeps it from returning within a season.

Will pressure washing damage older concrete?

Not the way we do it. Surface cleaners distribute pressure evenly instead of concentrating it in one blast point, and we adjust PSI to the concrete's age and condition. Spalled or crumbling areas get flagged and treated gently — we're here to restore your concrete, not sandblast it.

How long does concrete cleaning take?

A standard two-car driveway takes roughly one to two hours; full-property hardscape packages typically run half a day. Surfaces are walkable immediately and back to full use as soon as they're dry.
