The Three Things We Genuinely Can't Teach
You show up
On time, every scheduled day. It sounds like a low bar. In this trade it is the single thing that separates the technicians who last from the ones who don't make it to June.
You notice things
The downspout that isn't draining. The window seal that's already failing. The customer's face when they're not quite satisfied but too polite to say it. We can teach chemistry; we can't teach paying attention.
You'd rather redo it
Everyone leaves a streak eventually. The people who do well here are the ones who go back and fix it before anyone else notices, without being asked and without making it a whole thing.
A Word on Why We Run It This Way
Two people started this company in June 2022 with a borrowed residential pressure washer and a Ford Escape. Every early lesson came the expensive way — broken equipment, ruined weekends, jobs quoted badly enough to lose money on. Nobody handed us a payroll system or a training manual.
What that taught us is that the people doing the work are not a line item. A crew that's paid well, insured properly, trained thoroughly and treated like adults produces work that keeps a 4.9 rating across 160-plus reviews. A crew hired cheap in April and burned out by August produces the exact opposite, and every customer can tell the difference even if they can't name it.

Straight Answers
Do I need experience to apply?
No. Most of our best technicians had never touched a commercial pressure washer before their first day. We train the trade from the ground up — surface identification, chemistry, pressure selection, ladder and roof safety, equipment maintenance. What we can't train is showing up on time and caring whether the job was done right, so that's what we screen for.
What does the pay actually look like?
Above what this industry typically pays, and we'll be straight about the number in the first conversation rather than making you sit through two interviews to find out. Pay rises with what you can run solo — a technician who can be handed a commercial account and trusted with it is worth considerably more than one who can't, and we pay accordingly.
Is this seasonal work?
Not the way most companies mean it. Exterior cleaning slows in a Michigan January, which is exactly why we built holiday lighting installation and takedown into the calendar — it fills the months when washing can't. We're building year-round positions, not April-to-October ones.
What's the schedule like?
We run Monday through Saturday, and commercial work is frequently scheduled after hours because that's when a retail lot is empty. Expect some night work. Expect it to be planned in advance rather than sprung on you the same afternoon.
Do you require a clean driving record?
For any role driving a truck or towing the trailer, yes. There are positions that don't require it. Mention where you stand when you apply — it's a routine question, not a disqualifier by default.
