April is the natural month, once salt season has ended and the film has had a winter to build. Any frost-free month works otherwise. If a penetrating sealer is going down afterward, the slab needs a day or two to dry first, and that sealer wants renewing every three to five years. Autumn cleanings hold well too, since the surface goes into winter clean and sheds meltwater properly.
