Frequently Asked Questions
Everything Macomb County property owners ask us — about pricing, safety, scheduling, and the science behind the clean. Don't see your question? Call (586) 284-3810 and a human will answer it.
How much does power washing cost in Macomb County?
Every property is different, so we price by square footage and surface type rather than a one-size-fits-all rate. As a reference point, a full house wash on an average two-story home typically starts around $349. Your free estimate breaks everything down line by line before we schedule a thing.
What's the difference between power washing and soft washing?
Power washing uses high-pressure water to restore hard surfaces like concrete, brick, and stone. Soft washing uses low pressure paired with specialized cleaning solutions to safely treat siding, roofs, and other delicate surfaces where high pressure would cause damage. We're trained in both, and we choose the right method for each surface on your property — never the other way around.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry $2 million in general liability coverage and full workers' compensation on every technician, and we're happy to send both certificates before work begins. Ask any contractor for the same — workers' comp is the one people skip, and without it an injury on your property can become your problem.
How fast can you get me on the schedule?
Most estimates go out within 24 hours of your request, and the majority of residential jobs are scheduled within the week. We run Monday through Saturday, 8am to 10pm, which gives us far more scheduling flexibility than most crews in the county.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Not at all. As long as we have access to water and the areas being cleaned, most clients simply go about their day. We send arrival updates, photograph our results, and follow up to make sure you're thrilled with the outcome.
What areas do you serve?
We serve all of Macomb County plus neighboring communities — from Warren and Sterling Heights up through Romeo and Armada, and east to the lakeshore communities of St. Clair Shores, Harrison Township, and New Baltimore. We also cover the Grosse Pointes and Harper Woods in Wayne County. If you're close to the county line, call us; odds are we already work in your neighborhood.
Can you remove stains that have been there for years?
Usually, yes. We stock a deep line of professional-grade treatments for rust, oil, tannin, efflorescence, and organic staining. Some deep-set stains require a multi-step process, and on rare occasions a stain has permanently dyed the surface — if that's the case, we'll tell you honestly before you spend a dime.
Is power washing safe for the environment?
When it's done by professionals, yes. We use eco-friendly, biodegradable cleaning solutions, apply them at the correct dilutions, and manage runoff responsibly. Your lawn, your landscaping, and Lake St. Clair downstream all stay protected.
How often should I have my property cleaned?
For most Macomb County properties, once a year keeps organic growth from establishing. High-traffic surfaces, shaded north-facing walls, and properties near the lake may benefit from more frequent attention. After your first service we'll give you an honest recommendation based on what we actually observed — not a subscription pitch.
What surfaces can you clean?
Nearly all of them: siding of every material, roofs, driveways, sidewalks, patios, pool decks, decks and fences, gutters inside and out, windows, brick pavers, parking lots, dumpster pads, heavy machinery, and fleet vehicles. If it's outdoors and dirty, ask — the answer is almost always yes.
Do you offer commercial services?
Extensively. We maintain properties for national brands including The Home Depot, Enterprise, and AT&T, along with schools, hotels, apartment communities, and restaurants across Southeast Michigan. Visit our commercial power washing page or call for a site walkthrough.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major payment methods, and payment is only due when the work is done and you're satisfied. Commercial clients can arrange invoicing terms.
Still Have a Question?
