Hot Water vs. Cold Water Pressure Washing: When Heat Matters

Cold water pressure washing handles dirt, algae and mud. Grease, oil, gum and tire marks are bonded by fats and polymers that cold water cannot release at any pressure — hot water at 180°F or more breaks that bond the way hot water cuts a greasy pan.
