Every job starts with a walkthrough that notes materials, paint condition and plantings, and the landscaping gets wet down and, where needed, covered. The solution is mixed for the surface in front of us, milder on brick and painted wood, standard on vinyl, with an oxidation step on chalked aluminum. It goes on from the ground, reaches second-story walls without ladders, and dwells until the growth is dead. The rinse runs top to bottom at low pressure. Gutters, soffits and the garage door are washed with the walls, and the crew checks the north corners a second time before packing up.
What Goes Wrong Without It
The failures come in two flavors. One is force: a rental wand on vinyl cracks panels and pushes water into the sheathing, and on the brick-front ranches near Van Dyke and Mound Rd it scours mortar joints. The other is a solution too weak or a dwell too short, which is what a hose-end sprayer delivers, so the surface brightens and the root survives. Both leave the homeowner paying twice.
