Macomb Power Washing Solutions (MPWS) wasn’t built in a corporate boardroom—it was built in a driveway right here in Michigan, fueled by ambition and a refusal to settle.
Founded in June 2022 by Justin Dillard and Landen Glefke, MPWS began with a simple idea and a massive amount of grit. At the time, Landen was fresh out of high school and Justin was still a junior. They didn’t have investors or a fleet of trucks; they had a vision. Armed with nothing but Landen’s mom’s small residential power washer (thanks, Mom!) and a Ford Escape, the duo set out to create the most reliable exterior cleaning service in the area.
That "underdog" spirit defined our early years. We didn't have the luxury of expensive marketing or high-end equipment—we had our work ethic. Justin and Landen personally completed over 350 jobs in those first few years, working long hours and weekends to build a reputation one house at a time.
Those early days were a crash course in resilience. We navigated every bump in the road, from equipment breakdowns to Michigan’s unpredictable weather, learning the trade from the ground up. We learned that true customer service isn't just about cleaning a surface; it's about showing up on time, treating the home/business owner with respect, and standing behind your work no matter what.
As the business grew, we realized that to serve our community better, we needed to evolve. We didn't just want to be "guys with pressure washers"; we wanted to be industry leaders.
We spent countless hours networking with established business owners and cleaning veterans across the country. By building relationships with industry experts, we were able to learn advanced cleaning systems, safety protocols, and efficiency standards that most local competitors overlook. We mastered the science of Soft Washing for safe roof and siding cleaning, and we made major investments in industrial-grade equipment capable of tackling massive commercial projects.
This dedication to education transformed MPWS from a two-man startup into a highly efficient, professional operation.
Today, MPWS is a far cry from the Ford Escape days. We have grown into a premier exterior cleaning company serving the greater Metro Detroit region.
We have traded the residential gear for professional truck-mounted systems and hot-water units. We have scaled from cleaning neighborhood sidewalks to servicing multi-billion dollar companies like The Home Depot and maintaining commercial properties across Southeast Michigan. Yet, despite our growth, we have never lost that original drive.
